Mos Maiorum

Sat. 28th 8:15pm Teatre Principal 80' Price: 10,50€

Gentrification, that process by which the original inhabitants of a neighbourhood end up being expelled due to the revaluation of the area, explained from a set of real testimonies reproduced on the scene with the utmost fidelity.

The group Mos Maiorum, specialized in documentary and denunciation theater, and which already premiered in TNT 2016 a work based on the problems of the southern border of Spain, now presents a proposal on gentrification, a phenomenon of undeniable topicality and on which we need a deep reflection. They do it by applying the technique known as Verbatim, which is based on authentic testimonies and reproduces them in a scenic space where even the public fits. Video and other technologies will make the audience immerse in a scenario that embraces a fictional story … where there is no fiction.
